There are many different opinions on suitable footwear when they start walking. Some say leather boots to keep foot and ankle straight, others say softer normal shoes to keep building flexibility and muscle strength and others say keep them barefoot as mush as possible.... Whatever shoes you decide just make sure they are good shoes, yes they cost a bit more, but a price we are all happy to pay. Louis started with "Start rite" and he now wears "Ecco".
