James transitioned to the bboots and bars and its been really tough. He keeps slipping the boots all the time and it makes it very difficult to breastfeed. He woke 5 times last night having kicked them off I am praying tonight will be easier as I am exhausted, I have the in laws staying so cooking for a full house on top of it all is exhausting.
Having problems fitting him into the moses basket and also the swing chair. I dont know what to do about the bed as we cant fit the cot in our room and I am not ready for him to be in another room while I asm feeding.. any suggestions??

Sounds like you are going through a rough time just now. It can be a hard transition for everyone to get used to the boots and bar - not just the baby, and probably not the best time to have the house full :)
If James is slipping the boot is not on tight, or right, enough. What boots does he have? Did they show you how to ensure his heel is down at the back of the boot at the hospital? Cut the toes off on his socks so you can check his toes for the next few days while you learn how tight the boots needs to be. Then press down his heel and tighten the boots tight! As long as the toes return to pink when you press on them it is not too tight. Check out this page for tips on how to keep boots from slipping. It is very important that they are on tight as slippage can lead to blisters. If James still keep slipping contact your doctor, sometimes it is a sign that the feet are still not corrected fully. But please don't worry about that yet. i'm sure it is just a case of you getting used to the whole boots and bar thing. It is emotionally draining just now so please ask your family for help - get a takeout!
Not sure I have any good ideas about the bed thing. Louis had gone into his cot when he got his boots and I got up into his room a few times per night to breast feed.
Best of luck, and remember when you sit at the edge of the bed at 2am and the boot has fallen off again that you are NOT alone! We have all gone through it :) Please let us know how you get on!
