Louis's story 16 "Photos of Louis' feet at 9 months"

Well, since writing last nothing much has happened with the feet. Louis is still wearing his boots and bar 23 hours a day. He turned 9 months yesterday and is just about to start
crawling. He pushes himself backwards for now. Looking at other babies his age his
bar does not seem to slow him down in the least, more the opposite actually as
it gives him some leverage!

We decided not to put the dobbs bar on him for now. I have to get some Mitchell boot fittings so we can click it on and off as the home made screw fitting is not
working. I have sourced a seller in Canada who will send me the fitting for
$120 Canadian. However, I think he will only have the dobbs bar on at night
as he can’t stand up as the bar is different and he loves to stand all the time
at the moment. I think it is probably very good for small babies who are not on
the move yet. We’ll see...

Below are some pictures of Louis’ feet as they look now at 9 months. I am concerned about his big toes pointing up and over the others. I have been told this settles when baby starts to walk. Is this the case??

Hi Mia, it is great to see the progression with Louis. Liam's foot is the exactly the same though, the second toe seems to be going in the opposite direction to the rest and is up on top of the third, but like you i was told that it would settle when he begins to walk. It may be due to the fact that the toes of the boots are open and there is nothing to hold them in place. Try not to be concerned about it. I let Liam walk around the chairs in his bare feet these hot days and he grips the floor with all toes. I am sure it wont be a problem when he get mobile.
