boots and bars

Hi Everyone, im new to the website. My beauiful son kyle was born weighing 8lbs in rotunda hospital on 21 october 2011. Kyle has talipes in both his feet. He had casts on for 4 wks then he had his operation on 12 dec on his heels. Everything has gone well so far thank god. He had his boots and bars put on yesterday and its being a very stressful 2 days. He doesnt like dem atal i think its the restriction he doesnt like. hes being very upset and didnt sleep much lastnight. i was very teary eyed meself yesyerday cause he was so upset. Im hoping things will settle down now in the next few days.

Hi Aisling! My daughter is only a few days behind your son Kyle. She was born on October 23rd, and was put in her boots and bars on Jan 11th. She doesnt seem to mind them that much. I hope Kyle settles into them soon.

Hi Sarah, Thanks for your reply. Thats great your daughter is happy with the boots and bar. kyle has settled down now he doesnt cry as much now when putting them on but im still havin problems keeping the left boot on. Ive decided to get back onto temple street tomorrow and see what they say. im afraid of a relapse.
